At Bettina Kaiser art+design (BKA+D), we run on curiosity and creativity.
We are keen to understand and design your projects. We collaborate with fellow designers, artists, writers and developers
We’re especially proud to work on books and creative projects, as well as for many environmental and social justice causes.
Bettina Kaiser is the creative head at BKA+D.
As well as being a designer, Bettina is an artist. Bettina holds a Master of Visual Communications from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and has over 25 years of experience in designing for print and screen. She relocated from Germany to Australia in 2000. Bettina was an artist in residence at Arthur and Yvonne Boyd’s Bundanon and on expedition cruise trips to Antarctica.
Bettina's art can be found here.
Heike Krieger is a senior designer.
Heike is a designer, artist, and teacher who has been working with BKA+D for well over fifteen years. She lives in a funky strawbale house in the Dandenong Ranges of Victoria. Like Bettina, Heike also originally hails from Germany. In her spare time she is heavily involved with the Icelandic Horse community in Victoria. Heike is responsible for taking many BKA+D projects all the way from concept to press.
What else?
We support people and organisations through donating funds or services.

- Circle Paints - a not-for-profit organisation repurposing and selling unused quality paint
- Inner West Community Energy - a local grassroots group helping homeowners to electrify their homes
- The Rizzeria - a printing co-op offering risograph printing to the creative community
